(Myrtle Beach) The Patriots opened up the Mingo Bay Classic Tournament in Myrtle Beach with a convincing 10-0 win over Brockport. Mike Mooney pitched a complete game shutout. The game went 6 innings as the mercy rule was invoked. Billy Langston, Jason Kanzler, Brian Bezek, Rich Battoglia, all contributed to the offense. Travis Lisena used his speed to score the first run of the game on a passed ball to help ignite the Patriots.
