Matt McCrank doubled to score two runs in the top of the sixth inning to give Penfield an 11-9 lead.
The Patriots led 9-0 before Pittsford Mendon tied the score in the fifth inning.
Nate Zager, Rich Battoglia, Trevor Eckman and Brian Bezek each had two hits for Penfield (6-5). Eckman and McCrank each finished with four RBI.
